Why did you initially decide to have our firm handle your business accounting needs? I had trouble with a bookkeeper and my old accounting firm. As a result, I didn’t file a return for a few years. I hated accountants and the government, and was fearful of my situation. Through Dick Jones, a mutual friend, I met Tony. He came to my office without socks, just like me. He offered to take my books and review them. Fourteen days later he called and said I had a refund. He found mistakes in past tax returns and amended them. He was able to bring us in compliance while getting me a significant refund. He saved us. Ever since, he has taken good care of me. Tony has always given me great, sound advice. I haven’t always heeded it, but he’s always given me good advice. He’s worth every penny he charges.
Why do you enjoy working with our firm? The staff is so responsive. I like that I can pick up the phone and call anytime.
Which of our services are you most pleased with? I really appreciate the consultation and pre-planning services. I love to sit down and talk with Tony about ways to improve the business and do long term budget projections. I want to do more of that moving forward.
What positive changes have you experienced because of working with our firm? I’ve been able to pay all my taxes on time. When I was starting out, I was not a business man; I was a jeweler. I sold romance, relationships and beautiful jewelry. I was terrible with numbers. Tony helped me with a reorganization and we came out of it and prospered. He made me more of a business man and numbers man by teaching me along the way.
